Tips that prevent rejection

• Use block capitals in black ink throughout.
• Run the name search before you complete the form, so you don't waste a form on a taken name.
• In a partnership, every partner signs the form. One missing signature returns the whole application.
• Describe the nature of the business specifically. "General trading" is often queried.
