What happens there

An officer checks your documents against the checklist.
You sit the written test (20 multiple choice questions, pass mark 16).
If you pass, pay EC$40 at the cashier.
Your learner's permit is issued the same day, valid for 6 months.

Common reasons applications are turned away: arriving without the original birth certificate or passport, photos older than 6 months, arriving after the morning test session has started.
